Walrusguy top chart as Perfect Poop campaign is expanded with extra prizes
The popular narrative based pooper WalrusGuy has as managed take first place in the perfect poop contest from McMaNGOS who had held the top position since the start of the controversial campaign.
Perhaps motivated by the current forum closure viewers have been flocking to see Walrusguy’s video, if nothing to see what all the fuss is about. ShadowWario, whose disqualification as meant a boost up the charts to a number of other entrants specifically targeted Walrusguy as the reason for what he viewed as unfair competition despite the number of measure taken to ensure fairness.
Further criticism of the campaign has been levelled from other members of the community because the contest element being based on viewer figures alone - this, the critic argue goes completely against the ethos of Youtube Poop and that greed for success represents that which is rotten in the troubled community.
It was therefore been decided that extra prizes will be given to recignise other aspects of the long running campaign.
Whilst these extra prizes are unlikely to have any monetary value, the majority of entrants agree that the actual prize is the least important element and the extra personal publicity that winning generates is of greater value.
In addition to the Most Viewed prize, prizes will be given to the authors of the following videos.
- Most discussed
- Most responded
- Most entertaining
- Most annoying
- Most unusual/weird
- Best Overall
- Video that least resembles a youtube poop (aka Worst!)
- Judge’s Choice
- Forum Users’ Favourite
A panel of judges will have to be chosen to democratically decide some latter of these but how this will be organised has yet to be decided.

I wouldn’t be surprised if I was voted the winner of “Video that least resembles a Poop”…
I think that this is a great solution, however. My idea would have been that the top five or ten videos are up for consideration, then judges choose the final winner from those five. This works pretty well too.
