In their first ever review, the Poop Review staff brings us a look at popular pooper Deepercutt’s “Spelling Bee’s Are Serious Shit! =O”.

Finally, yet another new poop by one of the most popular poopers on YouTube, Deepercutt of course. Spelling Bees are Serious Sh*t is not only a solid poop of Deepercutt’s style but one that is sure to please his many fans. The first few moments of the video I found stale but it seemed as the longer I watched it the better it got. But it could stand better if a few jokes weren’t used, let alone being repeated over again (such as the numerous references to Fat Mario’s “NO”, and Knuckles saying “Shut Up!). Though even though such jokes occasionly show up in chunks the rest of the video is a mixed bag of pooping techniques, especially at the end (the part where Deepercutt says he was running out of ideas). And any fan of Deepercutt’s will be pleased to find references to his other poops (like bebebebebebe from his Static Shock poop). Just to sum it all up, it’s a remix of some movie I think from 2004 that I never watched. Even though, many people from in, or outside the pooping mainstream are sure to find it entertaining.

I have to say, I’m not a very big fan of Deppercutt’s work. Not due to the fact that he has over 4000 subscribers who worship him like a god, but mainly because his videos need to be a little more…random. However, after watching his latest poop, “Spelling Bees are Serious Shit, I have to say that the poop is…pretty much the same as usual.

The poop’s main problem is the dreaded sentence mixing (or, in most cases, letter mixing), and dubbing a few scenes with overused jokes from CD-i and Super Mario World cartoons, mainly during the beginning of the poop. For example, when Akeela is watching a spelling bee on TV, the kid asks for the definition and country of origin, only to be responed by Mario’s “no” from Hotel Mario.

However, about halfway through the poop, it starts getting way better, as it starts mixing scenes and using effects, like a good poop does. If Deepercutt were to take the sentence mixing out and leave the random scene mixing and effects, even if it was short, it would be not a solid poop, but at least a stable poop.

Other than that, I really can’t find that much good about this poop. I mean, it’s not horrible, but it’s just average. And average isn’t good.

Deepercutt is now synonymous with the phrase Youtube poop, some think wrongfully so. in fact alot most of the poopers on the chew website think he is overrated. while i for one think 4000 plus subscribers is a “little” much,it doesnt mean he isnt without talent. his latest youtube poop is a break away from the norm, and i found it to be quite well done and, in fact, funny. from the singing to the sentence mixing, its everything a deepercutt fan could ask for, and more.
but there is one thing that holds this back. the length. even though his poops aren’t normally short, this one feels drawn out at points. in fact 3:20 to 4:20 feels like a whole minute of mindless filler. but it doesnt hurt the overall video too bad and the ending makes up for it all.
I feel like im endorsing deepercutt when i say this, after all he doesn’t need anymore subscribers as it is, but im giving Spelling Bee’s are Serious Shit a 8/10. now go look at something more worthwhile.
