Among the “founding fathers of poop, DukeOfFortuneMan - or simply The Duke - is one of the most loved. Normally quite reserved, The Duke took the time to share his views on poop, tell us what he’s been up to recently, amuse us with his sharp wit, and tell why we haven’t heard a word or seen a new video from him since October of 2007.

BigMarioandTailsFan Interview

In Summer 2007 BigMarioandTailsfan became our first Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog poop making expert and along and with his brother would mass produce videos with such dedication that between them they have made almost 140 video in six months. In this interview we find out what has changed since he started, and also about the Chain Poop which reinvented community collaborations beyond simple video response fads.

MrDrunkenFox Interview

You may know MrDrunkenFox from the youchewpoop.com forum - he’s a the chief moderator in there. But when he’s not doing that he’s making rather unusual poops, and this week see the upload of his 100th poop CaptainFleaSam’s Christmas Rush which goes full circle back to his early days of poop making one year ago. In this interview, (conducted for the first time by RabbitSnore) he discusses those early days, how he has developed creatively and who has influenced him as youtube poop continues to evolve.

Greenalink Interview

Greenalink was amoung the first poopers to be listed here and has seen the site grow from only a few hundred to a few thousand poops. In that time he was worked at finding his own style, and it was been though gaming that he found it. With the same thoroughness as player looking for glitches he was found that pooping can be informed by gaming in more ways than one.

Kajetokun Interview

In October 2006, (a month or two YouTube Poop was known by any more than a handful of people) a certain remix video was gathering a lot of momentum. It started a trend of similar videos called Over 9000 and now has over two million views and ten thousand comments. Yet despite it’s style no one is prepared to call it a Youtube Poop.

Seconteen13 Interview

Seconteen13 is a very active member of the YouTube Poop community having made over 70 poops, and spent a lot of time in the forum and in the wiki, (she even designed the YTP News banner). Experience has taught her to be experimental with her videos, rarely falling into meme traps she is more often associated with CN based poops.

SuperYoshi Interview

In 2006 a bunch of freinds put some stupid videos on youtube to annoy people. They didn’t know that there would 3000 such videos within a year. For this interview (conducted live over text Skype, rather than the usual email) I spoke with SuperYoshi - whose video “I’D SAY HE’S HOT ON OUR TAIL” is the earliest film to be listed in our directory.

Stegblob Interview

Encore Enterprises LLC Interview

This interview was conducted prior to the opening of youtubepoop.com and served as an introduction to youtube poop for the site admin. This interview, whilst in a similar style as the above interviews was written for his personal blog.

Marc Graue Interivew

For Marc, recording the character voice overs for a certain cd-i game back in the mid 90s was business as usual. With over 25 years industry experience, and now with his own studio Marc had no idea that years later he would getting an email asking about the time he provided the voices for Hotel Mario!

Anniversary Interview: Scimath12

Youchewpoop’s oldest member, Scimath12, has seen a lot of events and things transpire at YouChewPoop during his one year stay. Everyone knows him as the resident lurker, frequent subscriber, and Magikarp enthusiast. This interview focuses on all the changes that have transpired over the year and what he has observed. Pooper Round Table Discussion I: Youtube Suspensions and Conrad Slater - An Aftermath

As a special expansion of the interview section of the YCP News page, a private experimental Round Table Discussion panel was conducted from May 28 to May 30 on the YCP forum. Invited to the Discussion were SuperYoshi, the first person to upload a video to Youtube recognized as a Poop; Ophios, forum moderator and prolific pooper; Stegblob, renowned Scottish pooper; and SeductiveBaz, who unfortunately could not join the discussion. The discussion was made up of seven key questions with room for follow-up questions. There were two topics for this panel: Youtube Suspensions and Conrad Slater - An Aftermath.Hopefully, this will be the first of many Round Tables to come.
