Full Metal Kiwi’s Poop Search Review

July 02, 2008 By: Mr. Vorhias Category: Quick Reviews, Poop News 4 Comments →

The following is a quick review of three randomly-selected Poops.

Ooooh Youtube. What wonders and horrors you hold. Oh, hello there. Didn’t see you come in. My name’s Full Metal Kiwi, but you can call me Kiwi. Hm? What was I doing? Well, using Youtube’s “search” feature to find Youtube Poops, of course! Want to join me and my search bar on a delightful journey? Great! Let’s go!

The Juhoker Meets Claude Speed by DeeperCutt

Well this was the first search result for “Youtube Poop,” Deepercutt’s latest video. Yes yes, Deepercutt has too many subscribers, blah blah blah, go cry in a corner. In reality, this poop is very decent. In fact, more than decent. I think this may be his best one yet!YEW.
The sources used were the 90s Batman cartoon, a Bel-Air remix, a Rickroll, and various sounds and images. The main source was, of course, the Batman cartoon which seems to be a Christmas episode featuring The Joker singing and laughing all the WIIIIIIIIII.
Deepercutt seems to have put a lot of work into it, using mostly speed-ups, visual mirroring, reversing, and sentence mixing. A nice variety of techniques and effects sprinkle the entire poop and it’s quite enjoyable. The first time I saw this I burst into laughter whenever I heard that damn Joker going “WHEEEEEE!” There’s also a very impressive techno remix with The Joker, which was very entertaining. I like this poop, it mixes humor with raped effects to create an entertaining 4+ minute poop.

Rating: 4.5/5 (IT…………………….. HAS IT’S MOMENTS)
Very entertaining and a few humorous parts. The only thing that bugged me was that the video/audio sync for the techno song was out-of-sync and took away from the enjoyment a little. Otherwise, a worthy watch, even if you don’t fave it.

Be Careful When You Smoke Weed by MrRoboto113

Scrolling further down the search results, we see this poop by MrRoboto113. This poop was made, oh, almost a year ago. It clocks in at just under 2 minutes, but it feels longer than that.
*GASP!* Noooo....The sources are Hotel Mario, the Mama Luigi episode, and a Family Guy clip. It basically uses sentence mixing and text. That’s it. There is a slightly amusing sentence-mix about instructions to find the instruction booklet, but the humor is lost due to the text that appears. There’s really not a lot to say about this. It doesn’t use many of the Hotel Mario clips and puts in an obvious Family Guy “Smoke” clip as well.

Rating: 1/5 (I need instructions on how to view this)
It may seem unfair and biased to bash this CD-i poop that’s over a year old, but too bad. I keep bad stuff on my account too, I think most of us do. This is just another example of the big influx of Poopers a year or so ago, all using Hotel Mario and Zelda stuff to fit in with everyone. A year ago, it may have been a bit humorous due to the “instruction” sequence, but it doesn’t hold up very well a year later. Don’t watch it, because you’ve seen all the jokes already.

Invader Zim Attacks Sonic by Supersonic45637

I skipped ahead and went to page 3 of the search results to see what I found. I noticed most of the results were WalrusGuy. Sure, it may have made sense to do a WalrusGuy poop, but I decided to choose something I haven’t seen before. And what luck, I found this gem by Supersonic45637 made back in January of this year.
Did I say gem? I meant “rock.” The first thing you’ll notice in this poop is the horrid sync. The sound/visual sync was so off, I thought it was on purpose because there’s sentence mixing in the beginning as well. And that’s really what this poop is, sentence mixing.
You there! OBEY THE FIST!The sources used were the Sonic cartoon, Invader Zim, and a few other random things sprinkled in. The poop was a bit painful to watch. At least with Cd-i material, you know what to expect since you’ve heard “I hope she made dodongo spaghetti for dinner” a million times, but seeing a source that hasn’t been used before in the same manner is just painful. I don’t even know what the point of this poop was, since it follows the episode and dubs the Sonic cartoon with the Zim dialogue. It might as well be the actual episode, because at least Zim is funny. The sentence-mixing isn’t very creative and you can see the creator was just trying to fit in with other poopers (especially with the rampant “PINGAS” usage at the end for no reason).
There is one good part, however, where GIR is crying. The repetition for that scene is great but it’s over too quick and we are left with nothing else but bad sentence-mixing again.

Rating: 1.7/5 (Just watch Zim instead)
It may be worth watching it, but it’s really not the sharpest knife in the drawer. Can’t even cut butter. But to be fair, the creator was trying new material and even got the hang of repetition. Given some time, perhaps this person can incorporate more techniques and material.

CONCLUSION:

Well, I feel like a dick. A good Deepercutt poop and two horrid sentence-mixing poops. I mean, Deepercutt is in a whole different league when you compare them all. Oh well, I guess that’s how things go.
Safe to say, don’t use the Youtube search thingie to look for Poops. There are a few good gems sprinkled along the pages but they are few and far inbetween. Best way to find good poops is to find someone you like, look in their favorites, and subscribe to who they like. Easiest way to spread the joy.
I hope you all enjoyed yourselves, and I will see you in the Forums!

Match: NS2 vs. MAZZ0Murder

Round 1 - NS2 - Revolver Ocelot Swims for His Life
NS2 started with a relatively simple poop using only Metal Gear Solid 2 as a source. It had a lot of stutter loops and catchphrases, and overall had very few effects. However, for a serve, which has to be edited, it was still a very well-done poop. Serves are tough to make, but NS2 did well, with a rather entertaining, if simple, poop.

Round 2 - MAZZ0Murder - Revolver Ocelot Can Swim But Fungus Drowned
And MAZZ0Murder hits the ball back hard. The second round is like the first, but a bit more extreme. He adds a clip from an anime, but doesn’t use it much- the main focus is remixing what’s already there. And Mazz does a great job remixing it, making the stutter loops faster and adding a lot of visual effects and what seems like some pitch change to spice it up. There are even what seem to be some short musical remixes in there as well. Overall, this is a great second round that still keeps the spirit of the original while taking it to the next level.

Round 3 - NS2 - Fungus Can’t Swim Like a Soul

And NS2 takes it even further. The stutter loops get even faster now and a lot of visual noise is added. NS2 added clips from Soul Calibur 2 and a brief clip from Haruhi Suzumiya, but again kept the focus on MGS2. There are more musical remixes and generally a lot more of what made Round 2 good. Overall, Round 3 was fast and rather awesome, and it’ll be rather hard to top.

Round 4 - MAZZ0Murder - Revolver Ocelot Finally Sinks and Trys to Become a Sniper
Round 4 is even faster, louder and awesomer. The stutter loops from the last round are speed up and even more loaded with effects, and the whole thing seems just one step away from seizure. Even the slow parts- specifically yet another musical remix- are still really entertaining and keep the pace going. This is a really great poop, and editing it will be a challenge.

Round 5 - NS2 - Sniper Sinks Ocelot’s Feelings
Round 5 has gone back into being 99% stutter loops like the first poop, but these loops are fast, loaded with effects, and generally seizure-inducing the whole way through. He adds some Captain Qwark, but it blends right in with the general madness. Round 5 seems like it set out to be the fastest poop in the game, and it definately succeeds. The lack of most poopisms except for stutter loops and, again, a brief musical remix may disorient some people, but I’m impressed with the poop exactly the way it is.

Round 6 - MAZZ0Murder - On Kaze’s Command Ocelot Sinks For Good
Round 6 is rather different from the rest of the rounds. It’s much shorter than the other ones- 48 seconds while the rest clock in at around a minute- and while there are some great stutter loops and effects and such in there, a lot of the poop is composed of slower clips from Final Fantasy Unlimited. It’s still extreme and fast, but it isn’t quite as good as the other rounds in my opinion. However, it still comes across as a great poop and a good end to the round.

Overall, NS2 vs. MAZZ0Murder was a great round. It started off slow, but that was only so every round afterwards could get faster and more extreme. The extreme use of stutter loops could turn some people off, but I enjoyed them all. The entire match was really great, and it ended up being one of the fastest and most extreme tennis matches I’ve seen.

Match: Ophios vs. rakninja

With the tennis cup having different and unique pairings, one of these most noticeable is Ophios, the moderator who is also an musician and rakninja being one of the oldest members as well as being a Staff member for the tennis section in the forum go head to head. So will it be Scratch or Megatron or both would get the title?

Round 1

The round starts off with arrows playing with some classical music which relaxes the viewer that suddenly some Thai cartoon goes around tilted and mirrored. The arrows continue getting wider and wider with a slowdown and colour changed footage with red eyes unexpected appeared out nowhere switching to the blue arrows which reveal to be four picture in picture swirls with a hint of tilt, then stuttering between some chickens which is trait of Ophios and a green bottle being vertically flipped also ending the music. As the blue PIP changes to green and moving, some character from Sweeney Todd is singing and reversing back and forth turning into more familiar poop territory which quick a layer of distorted footage by a swirl as the other events are continuing is quite a nice touch that moves to a mirrored singer and completely colour changed the footage. The layer is removed and so are the PIP effects, but shifting to reversing/repeating as a different distorted layer appears, this rapidly changes to tilted and inverted footage with muffled ear rape of the movie as the classical music retuns thus ending the video.

This seems more like a hypnotist video, however it is a very good round and shows originality something of a rarity. Also interestingly are the comments on the video arguing about the English langauage which is unfitting. I wonder what rak would do to poop this yet make it more pooper friendly?

Round 2

Starting off with a green screen effect and pitch altered (or possibly a different tune?) footage of the previous round, rak adds colour changed and repeated footage of Scratch on the plunger from the AoSTH intro which zooms out referring to both poop and indeed Ophios which makes the match from a hypnotist video to familiar grounds which I liked. The footage is rotated around which very rapidly using PIP and colour inversion of a man which a few seconds after changes by mirroring and using threshhold as well as lowering the pitch the colour changing Scratch returns moving left to right as that also including a quick picture too fast to see in general, however it is the singer from the previous round. Suddenly it refers back to the Thai cartoon from the previous round as a sped up Scratch as a layer is in the middle left. Very rapidly it goes from a jump of some footage in white, someone saying terrorism, Scratch sped up with a noise distortion effect, more from the last round, full screen sped up Scratch with the median effect in Vegas, ear raped white footage as the music slows down going back to the beginning rotating around which then fades out peacefully. To top this off, an unexpected picture zooming in with ear rape that actually gave a quick jump. Even though it was a good round and indeed beating Ophios’, however the problem so far is that many of the effects used so far for both are similar and feels like artwork not that it is a bad thing of course just not my cup of tea since I am no artist.

Round 3

Going back to the distorted footage of the previous round juxaposition between the blue bit and the green bit which changes to something that you see in a nightmare with mirrored footage with only a white line remaining with quick rotated layers of mirrored footage which changes to a stutter of the green footage and the man being white quickly changing to footage of the threshhold part and the sped up Scratch moving around between black flashes. Now getting more familar Ophios has G-Minored and inverted Souija Boy, a rest, a man shooting Elmo first unaltered, then stuttered and flipped ending the segment with a picture of Bush with a hint of ear rape. Moving on to red Chroma Key screen of Souija Boy with the Flange audio effect, a break, repeated but pitch altered scenes from the last rounds going on and off while having a transparenacy layer of red screen Souija Boy changing the match from artwork to more video editing aspect of poop but then Ophios’ originality kicks in. He alternates between flashes black, the arrows and the white footage ending with a reversed ear rape of the picture of the last round fading out the stormy music. So far this has been the best round in the match altering between artwork and video editing which the previous round only used very little of the latter. Also it has that nightmareish effect which would be a good idea if Ophios directed a geniune horror movie.

Round 4

rakninja has successfully emulated the video tape effect switching between the original source yet also including very brief moments of the previous rounds and Ren and Stimpy (names changed to protect the innocent) which was interesting that continued to the Ring part with a PIP of the last round. The Souija Boy footage was infra-red juxapositioning with the Ring tape which changed to repeating Ren chewing a lightbulb ending with a quick zoom, mirrored Souija Boy repeating slightly colour changed then zoomed in, moving to a scene of blood and finally a zoom of a chair. Going back to Ren and Stimpy staring as a still but started alongside a swirl in both directions with a zoom in with the Scotman’s butt, changing again with juxaposition between the ring footage and Ren and Smithy ending the segment. A quick break before the picture from the last two rounds looping twice before ending with some zoomed Ren and Stimpy. Fully enjoyed the round in this match so far as it references the nightmare part of the last round and during the round also uses the whaling sounds on the other footage which is a powerful touch as well as the footage used. Will Mr. Bird take down Megatron’s reign of terror?

Round 5

The beginning starts off with someone reading out a poem while the tape interference repeats and speeds up which moves to repeating infra-red Souija Boy as the poem continues, then a scene of blood is slowed down before moving back to SB and ending with a break. The chair from the last round is coloured changed to orange but apart from that it is unaltered switching to another break. Continuing the nightmare theme, Ophios added cracking of the audio poem as the interference returns briefly beforing going to repeated Ring footage which then returns to the chair now zooming in and out but changed to purple. Finally the audio poem finishes with no footage and at the last second, the ring appears. Ophios has indeed put the stops to rakninja’s last round however I still prefered rakninja’s round on the grounds of more bang for your buck even though Ophios does have a style and high amount of originality though.

Round 6

While the round starts off of sped up previous round footage with infrared SB and the interference, rakninja puts his favourite source (Transformers never the less) into very good use by putting a song as the truck (Optimus Prime?) starts normally which then stutters as using layers and PIP of the previous rounds moving across which then unsticks with a transparency layer of infrared SB. The stutters then alternate between two difference lots of TF footage with a transparency layer in between which was hard to make out. Some transformer then runs as it becomes threshholded and ear raped which then juxapositions between Optimus Prime and the ring footage from the last round, moving to Optimus and co while being lightly infra-red and continuing the segment with the interference with the song with a hint of scrolling TV interlacing effect in Vegas. The ring is then repeated and reversed very quickly as someone repeating saying Prime and speeding up, infra-red SB (a staple in the match) is repeated while being horizontally flipped ending with a pitch altered and ghosting effect as Optimus Prime says one of his catchphases… or is it? Na, mirrored Megatron ends the round and indeed the match which was icing on the cake.

While it did start off on a very shakey ground being more artwork which would appeal to only a few but it kicked off with the nightmare rounds and the last being a match worth mentioning. While it is hard to choose a favourite is due to different tastes while myself prefering rakninja due to him picking up the match and turned 90 degrees and then 180 degrees, artists would prefer ophios due to his uniqueness which unfortunately is not my cup of tea - not that Ophios is a bad pooper, on the contrairy he is very talented and did make a some good fads/poops in general but the problem is that he doesn’t realise that some stuff he likes is very niche especially in some areas (as pointed out by Vorhias in his music review). Still it was a match worth watching, just if you aren’t an artist skip the first two rounds okay?

The Indiana Jones Extravaganza: Part One

June 18, 2008 By: RabbitSnore Category: Media, Quick Reviews No Comments →

Our news staff brings us a review of the latest Indiana Jones media.

SN: Hello, fellow poopers! This is SonicNerd23 and Full Metal Kiwi here to bring you part 1 of a 2-part Indiana Jones review extravaganza. This week, we’ll be reviewing Lego Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures.

FMK: This game has been released on 360, PS3, Wii, PS2, and the DS. They’re pretty much all the same. I got the 360 version. I recommend this one most, due in part that all 50 achievements are quotes from the movies. Nice touch!

SN: Eh. Well, personally, I find the Wii version to be cool. With just a flick of the Wiimote, you can fire guns, crack whips, and swing swords. Of course, there is the alternate option of pressing B to attack… Oh, and the Wii version requires the Nunchuck to play. Y’know, to move the character and all.

FMK: Makes sense. They’re the same price, too, so that’s good for whatever system you own.
Well, I’ve played Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga, so I was used to this type of game. I noticed this game has a HEAVY emphasis on puzzles, though, as opposed to Star Wars’ emphasis on combat.

SN: Oh, YES. Well, you figure that if it’s an Indiana Jones game, it’s heavy on puzzles because everything about Indiana Jones is avoiding complex traps to get to the treasure. But still, it’s rediculous. I swear it took me at least 5 to 10 minutes to solve a puzzle in the Well of Souls level.

FMK: I found the puzzles to be a mixed bag, myself. Playing through the game normally is fun, but when you’re looking for the Parcel, mailbox, and the 10 artifacts in every stage for Free Play… There’s been times where I didn’t know what to do! I didn’t encounter too many puzzles I couldn’t figure out on my own, though. But the ones I didn’t, were VERY frustrating indeed.

SN: And another problem with this game. It sometimes throws in bosses that weren’t even in the movies, ala the Nazi Lobot-like guy or the giant Nazi tank itself. I mean, do you remember the scene in Raiders where Indy fights a giant Snake before exiting the Well of Souls? I think he’d soil himself if he ever did.

FMK: Well, the entire game itself is filled with more combat. I think the game would be too easy or boring if it didn’t have added enemy encounters. At the same time, some enemies are just annoying. Any enemy that has guns or bazookas will probably kill you if there’s enough of them. I’ve lost MUCH money thanks to those bazooka guys…

SN: I know. Seriously, in the Motorcycle Escape level in Crusade, the end area is just a pain in the neck to get through with an almost-filled True Adventurer bar. I had to go back to that level in Free Play to get it. WITH A x2 STUD CHEAT ACTIVATED.

FMK: Ugh, did not enjoy that level… Now, I’ve played this game with a second player, and let me tell you, it’s very enjoyable. It’s the kind of game where you can annoy the hell out of eachother and laugh. You gotta hand it to a game that can make “friendly fire” hilarious.

SN: I’ve never had a 2nd player, but I would like to, from past experiences with the Lego Star Wars games. I also like the customize your own character this time around. I made Irina Spalko from Crystal Skull and Scarface. You even have the option to test out the custom character so you can see how he/she works.

FMK: I haven’t used the custom character option too much, but I think the variety is a lot better than Star Wars, and it’s much easier to choose new costume parts.
I think the length of the game is agreeable, as well. Not as many chapters as Star Wars, but the levels are a VERY good length, as opposed to some Star Wars levels being just a boss encounter.

SN: True that. The cutscenes also follow the story closely, hence their length. But I found something funny. When you’re fighting that muscular Nazi in the airplane area of the 5th level of Raiders, that Nazi is the closest thing to God (no offense to those of you that are highly religious). He can survive punches, bullet shots, heck, even missles from the freakin’ AIRPLANE! Yet he only gets damaged from punching the anvils. HOW THE HECK IS THAT PLAUSIBLE?!

FMK: I find it humorous that guns and punches do the same amount of damage in this game, and you even take the same amount of damage from a spider as a gun. Speaking of, I like the “phobias” in this game. Some characters are afraid of certain things and freeze up, forcing you to use another character. I also like how no character is really useless (like in Star Wars) since anybody can pick up weapons or punch. I remember being miffed with Star Wars that some characters had useless attacks, or couldn’t attack at all.

SN: You have a valid point. But really, I thought it was Henry Jones Sr. that had a fear of rats, not Elsa. Some things I like are how the story ties in to the levels. I thought the dart shooting scene from Raiders and the Iehova jumping part from Crusade were both cool.

FMK: Really, it brings the movies to life pretty well. I think anyone could understand the story if you had forgotten a movie before. Kinda another reason why I like the achievements, though, is because the Lego people don’t talk and you miss out on great lines. Since every achievement is a line from the movie, you get the memorable parts as well. But I digress.
How did you feel about the cheats this time around? I like the concept of finding the parcel, and then having to deliver it. Gives more meat to Free Play, rather than just repeating a level all over again.

SN: Yeah. It’s a lot more creative than, say, just finding the special red brick of a level. It’s like you have to find that red brick, find the mail box, and then drop it in. It certainly adds more of a challenge. Although it is farfetched that a mailman would go out to the desert to get a package.

FMK: I think they countered the length of Star Wars with the amount of content they could fit in one level. I like that. Makes the game worthy on its own. And it’s a game anyone can enjoy, really.

SN: Even if people didn’t see the movies, it would still be enjoyable for them. I also love the feature to pick up weapons. That way, you can have Short Round hold a bazooka.

FMK: Very enjoyable, indeed. And with the amount of extras in the game, even completists can enjoy it! A game for casuals and hardcore alike. So, how would you rate this game?

SN: 5/5 definitely. It takes everything Legos Star Wars 1, 2, and Complete Saga gave to us and increased it tenfold.

FMK: I agree! A solid 5/5 out of me as well. Equal parts thinking and difficult with fun and unlockables!

SN: I garuntee that whoever plays it will love it, and if they don’t, well, that’s they’re opinion, but I think that this game is awesome.

FMK: As a closing comment, it was really my fiancée who is the major Indy fan, but even for me, this game was GREAT fun. The only people who don’t like this game are people who hate fun.

SN: Agree’d, and one more thing from me. There are certain bonus levels and a few bonus characters you can unlock in the game that are pretty sweet. Thanks for reading this review, YouChew community. Join us next time for a review of the new Indiana Jones movie, Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.
