As a special expansion of the interview section of the YCP News page, a private experimental Round Table Discussion panel was conducted from May 28 to May 30 on the YCP forum. Invited to the Discussion were SuperYoshi, the first person to upload a video to Youtube recognized as a Poop; Ophios, forum moderator and prolific pooper; Stegblob, renowned Scottish pooper; and SeductiveBaz, who unfortunately could not join the discussion. The discussion was made up of seven key questions with room for follow-up questions. There were two topics for this panel: Youtube Suspensions and Conrad Slater - An Aftermath.Hopefully, this will be the first of many Round Tables to come.

Born in Japan, Anime is now a well-known type of animation based off manga, thanks to the help of Dragonball Z. Of course, any known media was bound to be continuously raped in YouChew. Already, “Arashi no Yoru ni” and “Lucky Star” have been molested, harassed, and date raped many a time now.

But then, in his Snake avatar, NS2 crawled out onto the earth and declared a contest; a contest which asks brave, daring poopers to poop an anime of their choice.

The contest attracted many people to the sign-up sheet, ranging from GameBop to Nuthead, Luioigi to Toadamos, rakninja to Calculate900, from NUTHEAD to NUTHEAD.

As much as I would love to review all the entries, I’d rather just review the entire collab as a whole. All entries were fantastic in their own way, but I am not the one to be judgmental (which is weird, because I’m the collab reviewer). Technically, you’re the one that’s supposed to vote, but I do have favorites. Some like Crash2991’s, Nuthead’s, theHappyFungus’s, Furnessly’s, but that list can continue for a little while.

I had an interview with the host, and an adventure to fill my lust for pie:

Question #1: Why did you make the Anime Poop Contest?

“The reason I decided to go with the anime poop contest was because it was a fairly unpopular choice among YouChew users. I also wanted to see if any of our members could create something grand with an anime source. I usually believed around the forum that anime in general was usually despised (I’m probably still right), and I proved myself slightly wrong with this collab, which had members rushing to join.”

Question #2: What is your goal for the collab?

“I wanted the collab to create some of the best anime poops that could possibly be created, because YouTube is filled with many less-than-decent ones, and most of the forum members do not regularly poop it. I wanted to see what some of my favorite people could possibly do with the material.”

Question #3: What are some of your personal favorite entries?

“MoogleBoss/Abuse’s “Cloud Strife Gets Laid” is my favorite entry, despite it uses the CGI film Advent Children. It is still very funny and well-made though, and it deserves to win the contest. My second favorite was Nuthead’s “Tanaka Wants to Get to Gay City”. But all of the entries were amazing.”

Question #4: Would you say it was a success?

“There are still 3 entries that have not been received, and I have become too lazy to do anything. I notified them, but they have still not posted their entries, and as I said, I’m lazy to find replacements. I think the great thing about this collab, though, is that I got many people to create great poops, especially the one by MoogleBoss. I think I might just leave the collab the way it is. I might crawl out to make people vote for their favorite, or I might not. We’ll see what happens.”

On this day one year ago, former site administrator Conrad Slater opened up the original Youtube Poop Forum, not knowing anything about the poop community outside of the small amount he had researched before opening youtubepoop.com. Soon he invited prominent poopers from Youtube to the site, to join in discussion. There was no inkling of the close-knit connections that would be formed in the coming months.

Over the past twelve months, members of the forum have come and gone, edrama has erupted and settled, we’ve laughed, we’ve cried, memes have been born and died, video trends have been shaped, and friendships have been forged. Today, we celebrate the creation of one of our favorite – if not our favorite – havens on the internet.

First and foremost, we thank Mr. Conrad Slater for his tireless working on the site, his monetary support of it, his attempts to make it a better place, and his desire to have everyone just get along. Though he was frequently admonished and berated, this site would not exist without him, and for that, we should all be grateful beyond measure.

The forum has given us the opportunity to join each other as a community, and without Mr. Slater, there would be no unity, no friendships, no chance for any of the fun, terrible, maddening, saddening, and laughable times we have had in this place we call YouChew Poop.

It is my hope, as one of the current forum administrators, that today sees a renewed spirit in the members of the community. I’d love to see us put our animosity aside – especially any animosity left towards Conrad - and just have a great time, as I’ve seen we can. – RabbitSnore

To celebrate the past twelve months and hopefully many more months to come, a four-day long festival will take place on the forum.

This day also sees the resurrection of two community favorites, for at least a month.

The first of these is the Chewiki, the site’s purported information library. This part of the site has been on- and off-line as a result of technical and content needs, and it is finally back for however long or short, with the hope that it will be put to good use, for laughs as hell as posting helpful information. As before, a link to the Chewiki is provided in the header of the news page.

The second of these is a readable restoration of the old Vanilla-powered forum. Many of the image files have been lost, however the memories of the old glory days of the beginnings of the community. A link to this Archive is provided in the header of the news page as well.

YouChewPoop means an incredible amount to me. It has the best community in the world. Everybody there is wonderful in their own way, whether it be in kindness or in blind satire. They’re all here for one purpose…making videos…but it seems we’ve all done something more important in the process…made tons of friends and memories we’ll never forget.- Dopply
