Youtube Poop News

With this current gameweek well in progress, only a fourth of the competition remains active. YTP News is here to bring you the results once again, as well as a brief interview with player Ishkibibl.

The third gameweek of the Tennis Cup is more than halfway done, with only eight competitors remaining in four matches. Down from sixteen last gameweek, the Cup is drawing to a climactic finish.

The second gameweek saw victory for GameBop over GreatBritishTurd, Crash2991 over uncle69er, and NutheadElMajestico over RabbitSnore. Temeku received a free pass from his match with Intenseowl, with his opponent eliminated by default, disqualified by failing to volley the serve. This left Temeku and Intenseowl with a disappointing single round match.

NS2 won a victory over MAZZ0Murder, with his skillful use of WMM. TheRoboticRobot overcame AbsoluteBillion in a sweeping victory. Ophios defeated RAKninja in a tight battle, and Ishkibibl defeated Christoph in a match which voters referred to as “a tough call.”

Now, with the four matches of the third bracket coming to a finish on Saturday, we will soon be left with only four competitors in the semifinal bracket. As always, the Tennis Cup assures an interesting fight to the finish.

Ishkibibl, though busy with his current match, decided to give YTP News a moment of his time to allow us to conduct this week’s player interview.

YTP News: Greetings, Ishkibibl. Thanks for taking some time to do this interview.

Ishkibibl: No problemo.

YTP News: What is something identifiable about you and your style in Tennis? Any notable sources you often use?

Ishkibibl: Stuttering. Stuttering makes up about 1/3-1/2 of what I do in tennis matches because it’s easy for me to make and it’s always different each time to keep it from being repetitive. The other half is ear-rape, musical or whatever the hell I feel like making.

I don’t look for any specific sources to use, just whatever pops into my mind. I try to stay away from anime though, can’t really make anything out of anime unless I’m in the mood.

YTP News: What has your experience in the Tennis Cup been like so far?

Ishkibibl: The Tennis Cup has been a very enjoyable and fun experience for me, and I learned that I prefer to be served than to be the server because that leaves me more room to just kick the shi-, I mean, edit the previous round. Plus, the sixth round is the one people look forward to most in a Tennis match.

YTP News: Only 8 players are left in the Tennis Cup. With only a few more gameweeks remaining, who do you look forward to playing the most? Why?

Ishkibibl: I’m looking forward to playing Nuthead or Temeku. I like the poops they make. I’ve seen the way they rape videos, I’ve seen their overall style, and they look like some really fun people for me to go against. I’ve also never played Poop Tennis with any of them yet, and I really want to, so I’ll have to do my best in Bracket 3 of the Tennis Cup.

The following is a quick review of three randomly-selected Poops.

Ooooh Youtube. What wonders and horrors you hold. Oh, hello there. Didn’t see you come in. My name’s Full Metal Kiwi, but you can call me Kiwi. Hm? What was I doing? Well, using Youtube’s “search” feature to find Youtube Poops, of course! Want to join me and my search bar on a delightful journey? Great! Let’s go!

The Juhoker Meets Claude Speed by DeeperCutt

Well this was the first search result for “Youtube Poop,” Deepercutt’s latest video. Yes yes, Deepercutt has too many subscribers, blah blah blah, go cry in a corner. In reality, this poop is very decent. In fact, more than decent. I think this may be his best one yet!
The sources used were the 90s Batman cartoon, a Bel-Air remix, a Rickroll, and various sounds and images. The main source was, of course, the Batman cartoon which seems to be a Christmas episode featuring The Joker singing and laughing all the WIIIIIIIIII.
Deepercutt seems to have put a lot of work into it, using mostly speed-ups, visual mirroring, reversing, and sentence mixing. A nice variety of techniques and effects sprinkle the entire poop and it’s quite enjoyable. The first time I saw this I burst into laughter whenever I heard that damn Joker going “WHEEEEEE!” There’s also a very impressive techno remix with The Joker, which was very entertaining. I like this poop, it mixes humor with raped effects to create an entertaining 4+ minute poop.

Rating: 4.5/5 (IT…………………….. HAS IT’S MOMENTS)
Very entertaining and a few humorous parts. The only thing that bugged me was that the video/audio sync for the techno song was out-of-sync and took away from the enjoyment a little. Otherwise, a worthy watch, even if you don’t fave it.

Be Careful When You Smoke Weed by MrRoboto113

Scrolling further down the search results, we see this poop by MrRoboto113. This poop was made, oh, almost a year ago. It clocks in at just under 2 minutes, but it feels longer than that.
The sources are Hotel Mario, the Mama Luigi episode, and a Family Guy clip. It basically uses sentence mixing and text. That’s it. There is a slightly amusing sentence-mix about instructions to find the instruction booklet, but the humor is lost due to the text that appears. There’s really not a lot to say about this. It doesn’t use many of the Hotel Mario clips and puts in an obvious Family Guy “Smoke” clip as well.

It may seem unfair and biased to bash this CD-i poop that’s over a year old, but too bad. I keep bad stuff on my account too, I think most of us do. This is just another example of the big influx of Poopers a year or so ago, all using Hotel Mario and Zelda stuff to fit in with everyone. A year ago, it may have been a bit humorous due to the “instruction” sequence, but it doesn’t hold up very well a year later. Don’t watch it, because you’ve seen all the jokes already.

Invader Zim Attacks Sonic by Supersonic45637

I skipped ahead and went to page 3 of the search results to see what I found. I noticed most of the results were WalrusGuy. Sure, it may have made sense to do a WalrusGuy poop, but I decided to choose something I haven’t seen before. And what luck, I found this gem by Supersonic45637 made back in January of this year.
Did I say gem? I meant “rock.” The first thing you’ll notice in this poop is the horrid sync. The sound/visual sync was so off, I thought it was on purpose because there’s sentence mixing in the beginning as well. And that’s really what this poop is, sentence mixing.
The sources used were the Sonic cartoon, Invader Zim, and a few other random things sprinkled in. The poop was a bit painful to watch. At least with Cd-i material, you know what to expect since you’ve heard “I hope she made dodongo spaghetti for dinner” a million times, but seeing a source that hasn’t been used before in the same manner is just painful. I don’t even know what the point of this poop was, since it follows the episode and dubs the Sonic cartoon with the Zim dialogue. It might as well be the actual episode, because at least Zim is funny. The sentence-mixing isn’t very creative and you can see the creator was just trying to fit in with other poopers (especially with the rampant “PINGAS” usage at the end for no reason).
There is one good part, however, where GIR is crying. The repetition for that scene is great but it’s over too quick and we are left with nothing else but bad sentence-mixing again.

Rating: 1.7/5 (Just watch Zim instead)
It may be worth watching it, but it’s really not the sharpest knife in the drawer. Can’t even cut butter. But to be fair, the creator was trying new material and even got the hang of repetition. Given some time, perhaps this person can incorporate more techniques and material.

CONCLUSION:

Well, I feel like a dick. A good Deepercutt poop and two horrid sentence-mixing poops. I mean, Deepercutt is in a whole different league when you compare them all. Oh well, I guess that’s how things go.
Safe to say, don’t use the Youtube search thingie to look for Poops. There are a few good gems sprinkled along the pages but they are few and far inbetween. Best way to find good poops is to find someone you like, look in their favorites, and subscribe to who they like. Easiest way to spread the joy.

As a special expansion of the interview section of the YCP News page, a private experimental Round Table Discussion panel was conducted from May 28 to May 30 on the YCP forum. Invited to the Discussion were SuperYoshi, the first person to upload a video to Youtube recognized as a Poop; Ophios, forum moderator and prolific pooper; Stegblob, renowned Scottish pooper; and SeductiveBaz, who unfortunately could not join the discussion. The discussion was made up of seven key questions with room for follow-up questions. There were two topics for this panel: Youtube Suspensions and Conrad Slater - An Aftermath.Hopefully, this will be the first of many Round Tables to come.
