“Big Beat Mario” is a YTPMV made by the rather well-known youtube pooper, Triple_sSs (Aka Skyguy16). It uses Hotel Mario and a little of the actual Hotel Mario Gameplay. As for audio, it uses the audio from the two said sources. It’s a YTPMV made completely of the Hotel Mario CD-i Cutscenes and gameplay. I know I complain about overused sources, songs, etc., but this is an exception. It’s actually one of the best YTPMV’s I have ever had the pleasure of both listening to and watching. The visuals were great (despite the lack of effects, the way that Triple_sSs uses the crop effect makes up for it.) There are actually parts where seven different clips are on the screen all at once *screenshot below*, the beat is extremely catchy, everything syncs up, it’s very rhythmic, and as I listen to it while I make this review, I notice that it has a very nice bass line.

This is extremely rare, but I cannot find any downsides to this YTPMV. Its just an overall wonderful experience to watch and listen to. I recommend it to, well, everybody. Its that good. I suppose if I were to try my hardest to pick a possible downside, I would have to say the length. Its over six minutes long. It also seems to fade into different melodies and beats. I think that Triple_sSs should split it up into three parts, put the three parts for download, and put the links in the video description and list it as a divided version. The length is barely even a peeve though. The divided version would merely be a bonus. As I said before, this is perfect. It’s especially shocking because, quite honestly, when I first clicked the link to the video, I said to myself “What is this? another *overused song* Hotel Mario YTPMV?” Needless to say, I was surprised. My jaw actually dropped I was so impressed with this.

I know this review seems rather short, but the YTPMV is flat-out excellent. I can’t even recommend any ways to make it better! All I have to say is, Thank you Triple_sSs for the absolutely, positively, wonderful, stupendous, excellent, awe-inspiring, jaw-dropping, original, remarkable, astonishing masterpiece that you refer to as “Big Beat Mario”.

It is a cool song, I think, though I also think JakeSteel is right in his criticism that a minute, minute-half could be shaved off for being extraneous.

Still very well made, though.

Thank you for the review, Guysafari! I’m glad you liked it so much.
I’m still kinda surprised at how much acclaim this YTPMV has gotten, I knew it would probably get pretty popular but I didn’t think it would get this far.

And regarding the length as a few of you are talking about: I know it’s pretty long especially for a YTPMV, but I was wanting to go for a record. And because I was having so much fun in the process, it was hard for me to remove anything since I was enjoying so much of it.

Again, thank you Guysafari, and thank you everyone else! It’s things like this that make me proud to be a part of this community.

Finally a video I’ve seen before I read the review, and by someone I’m subscribed to no less!

When I first saw this one it blew me away, no wonder he was pretty stoked about it, and for a damn good reason. If talent is just a question of effort, I’d say he gets it by a long shot. But talent isn’t just a question of effort, and he STILL gets it by a long shot. I’m particularly pleased with the way the entire thing runs smoothly and is a sort of self-creating thing, which is totally common but rarely is it pulled off with such finesse. Major points to SkyGuy for this one, as I’ve said before, when it came out.

I’ve watched this MV (I call it that because the bright luster of the poopy part kind of differentiates it from that category) a week before and I think the hype is slightly above the subject.

It was a nice beat, a nice tune, a nice whatever you call a good YTPMV. I found it slightly unremarkable because…well, I’m not those cultured types that can appreciate a long, thought out YTPMV as this. I’ve been examining Red Zone mixes too long. But he put effort into this poop, and I respect that very highly.

In short, Triple is a genius-so much so that I cannot comprehend it.
