The youtubepoop.com January top 10 is now ready for online viewing over in the directory and features 15 highly recommended videos from all across the poop making world!

Unlike the popular top 10 monthly moments video, which we reported on Tuesday the directory chart is based upon the work of the featured poopers, whose number now total 178. Also this month there is even a unlisted pooper, GreatBritishTurd whose seminal babalfish translation video spawn a large number of derivative works.

Apart from the launch of the perfect poop contest January say plenty of activity in the forum, lots of edrama, the changeover of a moderator (plus plenty of backlash) and the rise in popularity of a number of new poopers plus new creative directions for established poopers. Following last months introduction of Flash Poop into the directory, there has been a slight increase special effects but more noticeably cdi has been creeping back into people’s hearts and minds!

Whilst this list has been assembled by the site curator it should be noted that each video is included on the videos merits alone regardless the behaviour (in the forum) of their creators.

The January edition of controversial chart video The Pimpsahoy Top 10 Monthly Moments has been uploaded once again it set to cause further discussion as it unashemedly places bias upon Flash Poops and even (again) includes more than one entry by the same pooper.

Unlike the Youtubepoop.com chart which is based upon the work of the 177 listed poopers, the pimpsahoy chart is based upon pimpsahoy’s own subscriptions plus those that have contacted him to have their videos included. It is far this reason that the chart is appreciated by some for it’s personal honesty (pimpsahoy make it clear the chart is based solely upon his personal taste) and has a major factor in the pooper building a subscriber base that ha almost reached 1000.

Not surprisingly Norm Augustinus features in the chart, pimpsahoy having used footage from the video maker extenively over the last month but the chart also has an overall theme of gay sex as more and more people on the forum have admitted to being “gay for pimpsahoy”; pimpsahoy’s arch nemesis SirRubberAhoy commenting rather satirically “I WISH I KNEW HOW TO QUIT YOU!”

As usual the chart is reproduced here, it’s author requesting that if you have any opinions about it to comment either in the forum or on the video itself over at youtube - where you can subscribe to his channel at the time time!

The popular narrative based pooper WalrusGuy has as managed take first place in the perfect poop contest from McMaNGOS who had held the top position since the start of the controversial campaign.

Perhaps motivated by the current forum closure viewers have been flocking to see Walrusguy’s video, if nothing to see what all the fuss is about. ShadowWario, whose disqualification as meant a boost up the charts to a number of other entrants specifically targeted Walrusguy as the reason for what he viewed as unfair competition despite the number of measure taken to ensure fairness.

Further criticism of the campaign has been levelled from other members of the community because the contest element being based on viewer figures alone - this, the critic argue goes completely against the ethos of Youtube Poop and that greed for success represents that which is rotten in the troubled community.

It was therefore been decided that extra prizes will be given to recignise other aspects of the long running campaign.

Whilst these extra prizes are unlikely to have any monetary value, the majority of entrants agree that the actual prize is the least important element and the extra personal publicity that winning generates is of greater value.

In addition to the Most Viewed prize, prizes will be given to the authors of the following videos.

• Most discussed
• Most responded
• Most entertaining
• Most annoying
• Most unusual/weird
• Best Overall
• Video that least resembles a youtube poop (aka Worst!)
• Judge’s Choice
• Forum Users’ Favourite

A panel of judges will have to be chosen to democratically decide some latter of these but how this will be organised has yet to be decided.
