Got back from a debate tournament recently and I cant get it out of my head.

its previous efforts have been more destructive than anything. the federal government should keep its nose out of things that are not constitutionally granted to them.



give me an actual democratic sosiety and its stipulations on felons voting. as our society is that of a democratic republic, how we of the US treat fellons would have little actuall impact on such a discussion, and a purely democratic society does not in fact exist on a national level, so any such debate would be purly hypothetical.

I think I am pretty good at debating.
At least a little bit, in that I'm always elected spokesman of the group. The trick is to bullshit pretty well.

We had a faux Congress a year back, with half the class Federalist, the other half Anti-Federalist. I was the leader of the Anti-Feds, Senator of Virginia, and was able to, thanks to arguing and planning (and scheming), win all of my major points from the other side, lead by Massachusets. No national bank for those bastards. AND no strong federal government either. Take THAT, New England.
